PIPEROIDs Continue US Invasion starting with the San Francisco International Gift Fair

San Francisco, CA -- June 22, 2009 – Magnote, distributor of unique Japanese import goods, has announced Wednesday the availability of PIPEROID paper craft robot kits in retails stores across the nation. All the available models will be show-cased in San Francisco and New York International Gift Fairs in August at booth #1095 (SFIGF) and #2955 (NYIGF).

PIPEROIDs are paper robots made from pipes with pre-drilled holes. Each package contains paper pipes with pictorial instructions, and all you need is a pair of scissors to cut, connect, and fold the pipes to assemble a robot in less than thirty minutes. There is no need of a tape or glue.
Inspired by designer Takashi Tsunoda of Japan, PIPEROID was born with the intention of unleashing the creative mindset buried deep inside every one of us. In 2007, PIPEROID received the Good Design Award in Japan given to superior design products from around the world. Since its US launch in February this year, the product has made rapid invasion across the nation, including highly renowned museums such as SFMOMA in San Francisco and Brooklyn Museum in New York.

PIPEROIDs are currently available in eleven different models with newer models expected to be announced in the coming months.
