Nomadic Traders Debuts Its Fall 2010 Collection at MODA Manhattan, August 1-3, 2010 New York

Whether you're walking down Portobello Road, or taking a short stroll down the Boulevard, the Nomadic Traders woman will always be dressed in comfort and style. Fall 2010 reflects the diverse lifestyle and versatile wardrobe needs of our unique customer.

New for Fall 2010 is Oh Boy!, a sophisticated but casual menswear-inspired group featuring a wide variety of jacket and vest styles including the boyfriend jacket, menswear vest, and a woven textured slim trouser, along with the cotton stretch tailored shirts in French Laundry. And we accompany it with a variety of fine gauge sweater styles to complete the look.

To sweeten the deal, the Boulevard collection brings in a feminine, metropolitan style, with our Ponti de Roma Knits, featuring the "weekend", "city", and "metro" jackets in geo and feline jacquard patterns. This is accented by slim silhouettes like our pencil skirt and slim pant.

Our customers' active lifestyles are driving growth in our knit categories, allowing us to offer a wide variety of fabrications and shapes to choose from. In the Noma collection you will find a colorful palette with updated bodies of terry, fleece, and jersey all working back to neutral bottoms. The Connections Group which is made of a beautiful rayon poly spandex enables our busy woman to mix and match solids and prints in stylish bodies.

Our boiled wool Chill collection offers standout pieces such as our Milano Jacket with decorative buttons or our cropped soutach jacket; either one will take the chill out of the air.

About Nomadic Traders
For over 25 years, Len and Anna Shemin have traveled the marketplaces of Peru, Bolivia, Bali and Asia seeking out the finest examples of hand woven, handknit and embroidered textiles. Nomadic Traders was born of the couple's desire to bring the unique beauty of indigenous clothing to the American market. Designer Anna Shemin heads up a design team working out of a half dozen countries creating the "Nomadic look," which ranges from casual weekend wear to urban sophistication. The Shemins' dedication to preserving, promulgating and reinterpreting indigenous handmade products has resulted in a growth and evolution of these skills. By creating a market and an appreciation for their unique brand of clothing, Nomadic Traders is helping to ensure that local crafts people honor as well as update their traditions, thereby enabling them to flourish.
