The Bo’s Art Studio Opera Collection is an elegant collection of purses, handbags, clutch purses, evening bags and exquisite accessories, each named after a famous opera. Husband and wife design team Lukasz and Bozenna Bogucki imagine and create multiple, handcrafted layers of stainless steel wire mesh to produce their unusual, yet sophisticated, modern bags. Several grades of mesh are used – from fine, with an appearance and feel of silk, to a more rigid industrial look – to produce a moire effect. Captured between layers may be real leaves, feathers, gold or copper leaf. Many more interesting effects are achieved through ultrasound, temperature or pressure treatments. A selection of cuff bracelets and necklaces, specially designed to complement the handbags, are available to complete your customer’s ensemble. Approximately 22,000 buyers attend each of the California Gift Show® semi-annual events for the opportunity to preview the most dynamic and vibrant product collections, from around the world, all brought together under one roof. About 1,200 exhibitors will be presented exclusively in the South and Kentia Halls at the Los Angeles Convention Center, maximizing traffic flow and allowing for more cross-pollination between the ten distinct product divisions.
